Features of the CABG Surgical Pack
The interventional drape is scientifically designed in a T-shape with overall dimensions of 270/200 × 320 cm. Key components include a 30×38 cm chest fenestration, a 35×45 cm surgical film, a 55×95 cm leg opening, and an additional 60×100 cm surgical film. An 85g reinforcement patch is applied in high-stress areas for enhanced durability. The drape comes with release paper and is furnished with both 10×20 cm four-hole ear pieces and 10×10 cm two-hole ear pieces. Human-shaped and arrow-shaped markers are also included for accurate placement.
Unique Design of the U-shaped Drape
The U-shaped drape is specifically engineered to cover puncture sites required during surgery. For instance, during radial artery puncture, the U-shaped opening exposes a precise 2×3 cm area on the palmar side of the wrist. In femoral artery puncture, it reveals a 1–2 cm region below the midpoint of the inguinal area. Furthermore, the side extensions of the drape naturally conform around the operative field without interfering with the surgeon's hand movements or obstructing the view of imaging equipment such as C-arm systems.
Standardized Sizing
The dimensions of the U-shaped opening in various interventional packs are tailored to common puncture sites-for example, approximately 3×5 cm for radial artery access and 5×8 cm for femoral artery access. This predefined design removes the need for intraoperative cutting, preserving the integrity of the sterile barrier. It ensures optimal exposure-neither too large nor too small-providing adequate surgical access while minimizing skin exposure and lowering the risk of infection.
